RULES FOR DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION
Official statistics guarantees non-discriminatory, equal, simultaneous access to statistical data for all users.
The individual and personal data, collected and gathered in the statistical surveys of official statistics, are subject to particular protection. They are covered by the statistical confidentiality principle – and as such they cannot be disseminated or published. They shall be used exclusively for statistical calculations, compilations and analyses, and by statistical services in preparation of sampling frames for statistical surveys.
Also aggregated data shall not be published or disseminated if it could be linked to or identify natural persons or business entities. This means that data concerning economic activity of business entities cannot be disseminated, if the aggregated data consist of less than three entities or the share of one entity in the compilation is higher than the three-fourths of the total.
Orders for unpublished data and information from official registers are fulfilled on commission. The basis for calculating the cost of elaboration and dissemination of the data is the current „Pricelist of the services of the official statistics”
SCOPE AND FORM OF DISSEMINATION OF STATISTICAL INFORMATION
The scope and form of dissemination of statistical information is specified in the programme of statistical surveys of official statistics passed by the Council of Ministers each year.
Aggregations of statistical data not included in the programme of statistical surveys of official statistics may be conducted (under statistical confidentiality) upon individual request (observing statistical confidentiality), subject to a charge.
Information is disseminated in the following forms:
- published volumes (information, publications)
- press releases and communiqués in the mass media
- direct customer service, post, telephone and electronic means
- data requests prepared on commission
- information published in the Internet

The order should contain the following:
- subjective scope (information about what entities/population is sought for)
- objective scope (what kind of information)
- time frame
- aggregation level required
- form of dissemination (electronically, printout)
- name and surname as well as address and phone number of the person placing the order
- payment form
The basic organisational and methodological assumptions of the above-mentioned surveys are set out in the Regulation of the Council of Ministers on the Programme of Statistical Surveys of Official Statistics. In accordance with the provisions of this Regulation, for all the above surveys, respondents submit data in electronic form using online forms available on the Reporting Portal.

When the pollster of the Central Statistical Office calls in order to carry out the survey, you can:
- check if a given survey is being carried out at the time by visiting the website of CSO 'Program of surveys of public statistics’
- verify the identity of the pollster by calling on the number of a competent statistical office

- make an appointment for another date of survey
- require a survey by direct contact with the pollster at home.

Who is a statistical pollster
A pollster of public statistics is an employee of the statistical office within the voivodship.
The identity of the pollster/ telepollster can be verified by calling the appropriate statistical office on number:

Each pollster working in the field has their official identity card with a photo and authorization to carry out the survey specifying the subject, area and duration of the survey.
To selected families/households the letter of the President of the CSO is sent, which precedes the first visit of the pollster. The letter stresses the importance of the survey, includes summary information about the course of the survey, obligations of taking the survey and the guaranteed confidentiality of the collected information

Register (REGON) is continuously updated collection of information on the entities of the national economy in a computer system in the form of the central database and the field databases . It was established on the basis of Article 41 paragraph 1 Point 1 of Act of 29 June 1995 on publics statistics (Journal of Laws 2018, position 997, with later amendments).
Entries in a register REGON shall be done by the following:
- legal persons,
- organizational units without legal personality,
- natural persons conducting economic activity (including those running individual farms),
- local units of above mentioned entities.
Each entity is given a unique identification number REGON. In accordance with Article 42 paragraph 6 of the Act on public statistics an entity is obliged to submit a relevant application within 14 days from the occurrence of the circumstances justifying the entry, change or deletion from the register (REGON).
Applications for entry, change or liquidation of entities of the national economy in the register (REGON) are accepted at the headquarters of the Statistical Office in Rzeszów in room 2, ground floor, telephone 17 853 52 10, 17 853 52 10 ext. 151, 153.

REGON register is public and widely available, data on entities of the national economy are provided free of charge and of charge depending on the range of data.
In addition, matters related to the national register of entities of national economy REGON, including providing information to entities about how to register in the register (REGON) and record-keeping methodology, as well as IT support for registry shall be carried out at the premises of the Office in Rzeszów and in branch offices: in Krosno, in Przemyśl and Tarnobrzeg.

Pursuant to the Act of 19 August 2011 on the Sign Language and Other Means of Communication (Journal of Laws [Dz. U.] of 2023, item 20), a person experiencing permanent or temporary difficulties in communication has the opportunity to use the assistance of a sign language interpreter when handling matters at the office. The intention to use such assistance must be reported to the office at least 3 working days before the intended date of handling the matter.

The Office will ensure service for a disabled person on a date specified by them, and if this is not possible, it will appoint another viable date.
Using the assistance of an interpreter at the office is free of charge only for an eligible person who is a disabled person within the meaning of the Act of 27 August 1997 on Vocational and Social Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (Journal of Laws [Dz. U.] of 2023, item 100, as amended).
