Centre for Transborder Areas Surveys and Statistics for Euroregions
By decision of the President of Statistics Poland, the Centre for Transborder Areas Surveys and Statistics for Euroregions was established within the organisational structure of Statistical Office in Rzeszów with effect from 1 May 2008. The Centre is responsible for conducting research on socio-economic processes in border areas and statistics for Euroregions. In addition, the Centre carries out nationwide surveys of trips made by foreigners to Poland and by Poles abroad as well as of border traffic. The Centre comprises a separate department in its structure - Methodology and Integrated Travel Surveys Division.
